From Hanksplace

Welcome to the hanksplace.net wiki!

When I originally started the Hanksplace website, I envisioned being able to put all sorts of documents and images and such online where everyone could then enjoy them. Over time one thing has become clear; I simply don't have time to keep up with all the submissions :-). That's both good and bad. It's good because there's a lot of good stuff that needs to be added to the site. That's bad because it's still not on the site :-).

I built this wiki hoping to alleviate that problem. Now you won't have to wait for me for something you submit to show up on the site. Now you can add it yourself.

We recently had a wonderful reunion for descendants of Ephraim Hanks on 24 July, 2006. I've added a Ephraim Hanks Reunion July 2006 to the wiki. Feel free to add your memories, comments, suggestions, photos, etc. to it.

How to contribute

If you have images, histories, documents, etc. that are related to the site content, feel free to upload them and create pages linking to them.
For each place name on the wiki, it would be neat to link to a Google map or a Yahoo map showing the place mentioned.
